Each year there is a theme - this year it was pioneers. All activities are planned around this theme and the children receive a shirt with the year and theme on it. We always have a great time being with everyone. This year we learned about pioneers from our family and even took a hike up to Ensign Peak in SLC.
Even though this event is a huge stress for my parents, I'm so thankful they've planned these camps. Not only are our children closer to their cousins because of this annual event, but we have a greater appreciation for family and the importance of maintaining these important relationships.
This picture is not the best, but I unforunately didn't get too many pictures. This is a picture of Laurel and some of her cousins eating pioneer cookies after listening to stories about their ancestors.
