Dreaming

Speaking of contractors, I just have to say how much I miss my kitchen. Those who know me well know that I love to cook! I'm not afraid to try anything - I get that from my mom. This is the time of year that I love most for cooking. Apple-pear cobblers, butternut squash soup, beef stew, homemade bread, homemade chicken noodle soup, and homemade chili with breadsticks on Halloween night. I love everything about the Fall, especially the food. So, until I can get back in my kitchen, I'll think about a delicious creation I made a couple of months ago. It's a raspberry almond cake with an almond cream cheese frosting . . . oh so good. I learned how to make this at Thanksgiving Point at a fun cooking class I attended with a friend from Philly (thanks, Jenn!).
