Fourth of July Parade

Our development sponsored a fun children's parade celebrating the 4th of July. Laurel and I decorated our family wagon with red and blue balloons, glittered banners, and red crepe paper. Anyone who knows Laurel knows that she loves any type of craft/art project, so she had a great time decorating this wagon with me. As always, Andrew went along for the ride without much complaint. Our community police and fire departments led the parade through the neighborhood. Although it was brief, the activity was fun and culminated in some great treats, drinks, and festive pin wheels for the children. We also made a stop at Sonic for some ice cream and drinks - we love "happy hour" at Sonic!
