Today we had a fun children's activity with our church. All of the children in our congregation met at the local park for a water activity. As one of the leaders, I was responsible for one of the water stations. My activity was the sponge relay. The children placed a wet sponge on top of their heads as they ran to a bucket, squeezed the water from the sponge into the bucket, and then ran back to hand the sponge off to the next in line. It was a fun activity and the children enjoyed their heads getting wet because it was so warm. Here are two pictures of Laurel running in the sponge relay - she had a great time!
